PRODUCTS

The Product Conformity Programme (PCP), is the standard set by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for all products exported to Saudi Arabia. The Programme, which is supported by Intertek, has a number of key objectives:

Protection of public health
Consumer safety
National security
Protection of religious and public morals
Prevention of deceptive practices

The PCP is mandatory for all goods exported to Saudi Arabia. Only the following products are exempt:

Medical equipment
Medical products
Food
Military related products
