Intertek Government and Trade Services recently held workshops in Riyadh and Dubai for clients to explain the new SALEEM Programme and the SABER online platform System, implemented by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).

The SALEEM programme takes into consideration specific product technical regulations which are in place to ensure the quality and safety of products in the KSA market.

The workshops included presentations from our technical experts to explain the new programme as well as giving exporters, importers and brokers the opportunity to ask questions.

Over 700 attended across the two workshops in Riyadh and Dubai, our Intertek expert speakers included Makram Khalil, Regional GCC Director for Conformity Assurance Programs, Fawaz Maalouf, General Manager Saudi Arabia, Mohamad Daboul, Deputy Regional Director, Saudi Arabia, Victor Hassrouny, Quality and Conformity Assurance Manager and Husny Saeed, Commercial Director Middle East.

Further workshops are planned to take place in Jeddah and Dammam.
